These data were generated to constrain the temporal and geochemical evolution of hydrothermal alteration and mineralization at the Ernest Henry IOCG deposit, Cloncurry District, Australia. The dataset comprises petrographic observations, in situ U-Pb ages, and trace element compositions of apatite from multiple paragenetic stages, spanning regional Na and Na-Ca alteration, pre-ore and syn-ore K-Fe-(Mn) alteration with ore deposition, and post-ore alteration. The data resolve discrete hydrothermal events linked to the Isan Orogeny and associated magmatism, and track fluid evolution through systematic variations in apatite chemistry (F, S, As, Ba, Na, Cl).
